 Merin organization was established to support the development of social justice, technology, environment, and education rights for the IDPs, refugees, and host community, focusing on women, girls, and children, who are the most vulnerable and marginalized categories in any situation and community.

She called it Merin because it means (the act of bravery, generosity, and gentleness).

​Merin's primary focus is on integrating a human rights-based approach into all aspects of our work, ensuring that we empower all rights holders, and hold duty-bearers accountable in accordance with international human rights standards
